So its been about 3 years since my last post here... That weekly column, I think I will actually start it now, and those prizes, well, shit, ok I'll think of something, however now only the top two posts will receive them since no one else has posted in all this time.

Anyways, moving on to business, after a bit of downtime to most of the sites at YerLabs Hosting, Chris (ctd1500) and I (romiir) have finally got around to putting a new server online. So far it seems pretty nice and I am happy with our decisions. This time it is no longer possible for it to be pulled from under us, and we have excellent redundancy.

Just like in the old dbspot days, the arrangement we previously had for hosting underwent some fire, and negotiations fell through. We had some issues with the server, and we as a result suspended some domains (our host at the time had all of their domains registered through us), and that resulted in them going ape shit about us causing them a profit loss and as a result, perhaps not directly, but down the road a few days caused the main guy to want the server to himself, and left us again, homeless. All of this has now been resolved and I carry no grudges, sometimes people are really busy and don't have time to deal with stuff, and they react poorly to corrective measures instated against them to encourage action. I personally have not had enough free time lately to do what I have needed to do, and all of my friendships and relationships have suffered as a result. I do not know where this road goes, however it has been and always will be an interesting journey. Until next week, ciao.

Hello folks, for starters, I wanted to mention that the About Us page has been updated, some of the older history is inaccurate now, as I actually pay for the hosting of this place. I thought that should be mentioned...

In other news, I've made the decision to start a weekly column on Romiir Labs, I won't make a promise as to when the first issue will come, but after that it will be weekly.

The really old video footage that still hasn't been posted, WILL be posted, when I have time to do so.. It hasn't been lost or anything, it is safe on my 5 TB hard drive array. Thing is, I just keep putting it off as Romiir Labs is no longer a top priority for me and I do have a real life to live with other responsibilities...
(If you who haven't experienced college yet, here is a short summery: You will have a lot of fun, but you won't have a lot of free time.)

For those of you wondering how I am holding up. I'll be honest, I've been working really hard to keep up with my studies, I look back at high school and can't believe how lazy I was. Selecting something to do in life is an important task for anyone, I mean, you can't just pick a degree and go to college cause you want money, you have to do something you truely enjoy doing, else you won't want to get up in the morning and head to class. I think I've found my place in computer science, and I enjoy competitive programming and collaboration/teamwork.

(No, I'm not trying to turn Romiir Labs into my personal blog)

You will notice a new link on the left to this new effort. We will hide files there that we can't exactly host here.. Or stuff that needs LOTS of bandwidth, because our new co-operative server has plenty of space and plenty of bandwidth, if you want to see something hosted on that server please send an e-mail to me via the usual method romiir+mirrorrequest at removethisandspaces google.com and change "google" to "gmail". or send me a pm... You may also contact yourmysin to arrange hosting, although at the moment I am the primary manager of the mirror.

I'd advise all our members to checkout the data available on the mirror server, it has a LOT on it, and is constantly being expanded.

um I think ill post it since romiir or dark jack didn’t

Last week on the 6^th me romiir and dark jack went to Quincy IL

Our plan was to beat “House of the Dead” Romiir thought it would be a good idea to reserve the machine so people couldn’t throw us off. When we told the guy at the counter Adam or DravenShadows if you prefer told us no one had ever just wanted one machine so he calls his manager and the cherg us for a party. Sp for $ 50 us we got 250 some tokens ands run of House of the Dead.

We beat it but still had a lot of tokens left so we started playing soul clabber 3 the we invited others to play the only onw that took us up was David or Tinsu then we played the dancing game “In the Grove”

As the video will show he whipped us all pretty bad but it was all in fun

WE beat house of the dead and got two new members

An unfinished working beta preview of SinScape 1.0.1 is now in the downloads section, replacing the old version. This version now works with the new Runescape engine upgrade, but is not the complete and new 1.0.1... It was released early due to the previous version not working after Jagex switched game engines...

The full 1.0.1 with clan database will be done soon.
